CAMBRIDGE CAVALRY VOLUNTEERS.
The members of the above troop fired on Monday last for the rifle presented by Major Hay. A number of money prizes were also added. A fair number competed, and the scores taken altogether were fairly good. The light was anything but good, and during the competition the wind blew across the range in gusts. Captain Runciman was in charge of the party, and the firing commenced about 11 a.m. As will be seen by the scores appended the rifle fell to Trooper A. Forrest : —
