Mr Alfred Buckland reports :— At the Hnymarltet on Friday lust foddur was in usual supply, and without alteration in values. Meadow bay, from 2s 3d to 3s j oaten hoy, 3a 3d to 4s ftl the cwt. llorse ntock offered in average numbers, and all classes met with a Bteady inquiry at fully late values. Unbroken di aught colts, £18 to £25 ; undersized yearlings, £2 12s 6d to £4; three-year-old riding stock, unbroken, £5 10s to £10 10s. No young heavy draught broken horses were offered. Light harness and medium' draught brought from £9 to £21 ; a pair of plough herse3, £36 10a ; riding horses, £3 to £15 each. The sale of stock and furniture held at Mr W. V.ilsona residence, East Tamaki, on Wednesday, was very numerously attendel, and the prices obtained for the stock showed an advance over the usual market rites ; longwonllcd ewes brought from 3-is to 45s each • ewe Ininl>s, 24a to 3Us; wether lambs, 19s each. At Kemuet-A on Thursday, a few uoo I dairy cows were penned, and a huye number of indifferent quality. Prices were rather lower. Dry cows were unusually numerous, and at late values. Store steers in less than usual numbers, and in request. Fat cattle fabundant ; above 180 penned, and all sold ; prices steady throu^hoit the sale averagin ' 2os the 1001b. Store sheep were offered iv larger th*n usual numbers, and in demand ; a mixed llock of aged merino ewes and half-1 r^d ho^geti brou 'lit 11« 6d each; merino wethers, 11s. Fat sheip in usual numbers ; about 400 penned ; prices obtained about 4d the lb. Pigs unusually abundant ; above 200 pa&ned : price* were lower than for several weeks.
