Maiden* Plate.—-Won by Mr Wetherall's Dolly Yarden, Mr Scott',i Fly second. Pont llace.—Jlr Stitchbury's Waliine, first ; Mr Bond's Laitty, second. Stekpi.kchase.—Winner, Mr Kay's Coetello \ second, Mr Higginson's Bob. Te Awamtjtc Crr.—Mr Finch's Billy Barlow, winner ; remainder distanced. Galloway Stakes.—Winner, M» SticLbury's Wahine; Mr Seott's Fly, second. Consolatics Stakes.—These stakes were awarded to Mr Bertram's Skittles. Hcruy Skcbky.—Nine horses started. Mr .Seaton's Ruwbones, winner. The races were most axciting throughout. In the pony and Galloway events Wahine pushed Lanty rery hard from the starts, and passed him in beautiful style at the finish. The management was excellent, and universal satisfaction at the day's sports' has boon expressed. Tliero was one accident. We regret to report that Mr Maundc fractured his collar-bone in consequence of a collision. Kay rode the stccplcchaso without stirrups, the leather having broken at the first jump. There in little doubt that somebody had designedly bored holes across it.
