Medow hay from 2a 6d tiio cut.; pro ved Is ; outs, lis lid and lis ; maize, !is 9(1 the bilHhel. There was a fair muster ofuged stock, horses, arid stron'» riding horned. Those met with a fair enquiry, ;md the greater number were sold. Riding hoi-sea from £12 to £23; drauglit, £15 10* to £17 5s ; small riding horses, £J. 10s to £7 10s. The wool, hide, and hemp sate held on Wednesday was fully attended with buyers, nnd spirited competition ruled throughout. For wool, the bidding on American account was marked, and the greater portion was puivhii -ed for that market, l'rices were higher than have hitherto been obtained. For hemp, the prices were lower for superior quality than on the last occasion. -American buyers did not operate, but hcvcthl lots wore purchased for the English market, which kept prices steady at £27 10s to £29 the ton.
