They were unable to agree, the case was therefore again brought before the Court. Judgment for plaintiff for £3 10s. and costs. JoriKl'H v. Kisqslky.-—Claim £7 14a. 7d., goods supplied. Defendant pleaded an overcharge of 3s. 9d., and plaintiff, in order to obtain settlement, agreed to deduct that amount. Judgment lor balance with costs was entered for plaintiif. Clahke v. McCeea.— 4s. 6d., school fees. Judgment by default. I'auukix V. Peimeose (Chairman Kirikiriroa Road Board). Ihe defendant appeared in accordanec with a summons issued on the information of the plaintiff, the object, being, to try the legality of the rates made by the above Board. " Judgment reserved till lyth November, in order that the opinion of the Attorney-General way be obtained. William Coleman appeared in answer to a summons issued on the information of Henry Mullious, an officer of the Fast Hamilton Town Board. That he had, by allowing furze to grow on the public thoroughfare committed a breach of the "Weeds and Watercourses Act," and further that he had omitted after being duly warned to remove the nuisance. Men were therefore employed to remove it, and he wa3 now summoned for the cost of such removal, £2. Coleman pleaded he was not owner of the sections specified, and that he had appealed last year, but his appeal was not recognised. Judgment for amount and cost 3.
