THE CELEBRATED CLYDESDALE HORSE "NUGGET." NUGGET is six years old; stands 16£ hands high; a beautiful dark chestnut, with strong bone, good action, and remarkable fi u- , temper. jJrecl by Mit. Sire " Major," bred by E Aldixo, P]sq., Wiltshire, England; winner of the first prize of twenty-five pounds at the Royal Agricultural Society of England, held at Canterbury the 18th July, 1860. He was then purchased by Thos. Crispk, Esq., and imported to Tasmania, where lie won the first prize at the Society's Show, held at Campbell Town, 1861, for the best imported draught stallion in the Colony: and he won the same prize at the Society's Show held at Longford, 1862. He was afterwards purchased by B. Newall, Esq., for the sum of £550, and imported to Auckland. Grand Sire the celebrated horse "Boxer," winner of three successive prizes at the Royal Agricultural Society, England. Great Grand* Sire "Rob Roy," the property of J. Salmono, Esq., Glasgow. His pvogney have taken eleven first prizes at the Highland Agricultural Society Shows in Scotland. Dam "Blossom," imported by B. Newall, Esq. Grand Dam "Sober," winner of three first prizes at the Grand National Show held in Melbourne. He will Btand at Hamilton, East and We3t, on Saturdats ; Cambridge, on Monday Nights; Ohaupo, on Tuksday Nights; and at owner's place the remainder of the week. Tkiims — £2 10/- single mare; two or more as per agreement. Good packlocking and grazing provided for mares from a distance free of charge for one month. G.
