TO THE "WAIKATO TIMES." AUCKLAND. Wednesday, 10.38 a.m. The Board lias decided to quarantine the Nevada for three days. The, Mails will be landed. A man named Lemond attempted suicide this morning at the Shakespeare Hotel by suspending 1 himself by a comforter to the balustrades. He was nearly dead when rescued. He has been taken to the hospital. The schooner Prima Donna has returned from Norfolk Islands with the- Rev. Mr. Dudley. She reports the safety of the missingschooner Southern Cross. During the voyage to the Islands the natives were friendly everywhere. At Florida-, the cliicf gave a warm reception to the Rev. Mr. Brooks. No suspicious circumstances wore observed: Arrived —Keera, from Wellington.
