Captain Harding, of the Nebraska, appeared jn answer to a summons charging , him with having given evasive replies in reference to the healthiof the crew and passenger* of the vessel on h'rr arrival in Auckland harbour. The case was dismissed on the Doctor of the •steamer proving that tliere was no case ot variola on board. Rummer, ihe Auckland JaVk Shepherd, was not, re-captured mMioou to-day. Foster's sheep run in Hawke's Bay, containing 9,000 acres, with 4,500 sheep, has been sold for £13,000. Avrivel —Taranaki, from Wellington and Southern P^rts.
