The Norwich Union Life .Society has no distinct body of proprietors ; the insurers at large are the recipients of the savings of the institution : the premiums paid, being in fact only deposits, revert to those who Contribute them. SETTLEMENT POLICIES. RATES OF PREMIUM Are framed as low as are consistent with the due safety of the Society, and its Actuary is calculated to be one of the most competent authorities in England, the Court of Chancery having recently had to avail themselves of his experience in these matters ; and although apparently higher than some offices, assurers should not lose sight of the fact that they receive it back, either in bonuses or in addition to sums secured, and in electing to insure in this Society, they also avail themselves of the experience and safety of a concern that, time lias proved to be secure against all chances. LOANS. Surrender values are given for Policies of 3 years' standing, or loans granted on SECuarry of same. . FOREIGN TRAVEL Permitted to all part.s of the globe ill properly decked vessels, and in time of peace.
