A large meeting last night adopted a resolution affirming the immediate necessity for a radical change in the system of administering the affairs of Westtand—-that the whole |of the West Coast should be declared a province under a Superintendent elected by the people and having a seat in the Provincial Council, which body should have power to constitute road di»tricte. The meeting also passed a rote of thanks to Mr. Harrison, for his efforts to forward the interests of the district.
