TO THE "WAIKATO TIMES." ;—* AUCKLAND. This day. Thomas Hojre, Eugene O'Reilly, WiUiam Walsh, -James Cuthmins, James Gleeson, and Thomas Sbeean, Directors of the Green Harp Gold, Mining Company, Corowandel, were arrested last night on the charge of having conspired to defraud WV J, Hunt. They were brought op at the police Court this morning and remanded for "k week. They re? leased on bail, each in the sum of £200 and two sureties of _ Arrived-—Lima, from Wellington. The steamer Southern Cross has returned from the wreck of the Harriet Kin'g. The cargo and wreck were sold to Kelly for i&2, prioi to instructions being received from the New Zealand Insurance Company.
The Green Harp has had 64 ounces retorted at the Bank of New Zealand, and the result was 63 per cent copper, 28 per cent of gold, and 9 ; per cent of silver, in consequence the shares have fallen to 12s.
