Str, —As Chairman of the Hamilton Town Board, I feel called upon to deny most emphatically an insinuation that appears in a letter of Mr. Knox's in your issue of the 25th inst, viz., that an alteration had been made in the width of the road to the wharf since obtaining the approval of the late Chairman of the School Committee. The plau forwarded to the Government was the one which had the approbation of the said chairman, and upon which the Board is at present workiug.—l am, etc., Thomas F abb ell, Chairman of the Town Board.
