Lilian Harvey is starred in “My Lips Betray,” the Wm. Fox special production, to be screened to-morrow right and Saturday. In this picture, specially adapted to her versatile talents, she has John Boles as her leading man. The story is laid in & strange and mythical setting, and the principal characters are a romantic king and a charming cabaret entertainer. Through an error perpetrated by the royal, if tipsy, chauffeur, rnmours begin flying about that this young girl who is on the verge of being evicted by her landlady for nonpayment of rent is really the king - favourite. Things change with amazing rapidity. Instead of being a poverty-stricken entertainer, the girl becomes the centre of everyone’s attention. She is dined and wined and feted and decorate,d and,- entirely against her will, is. forced into accepting the situ*, ation. She must play the part if only to keep the people around her happy. The king finally hears about the rumour and .decides to investigate for himself. He goes to see the young woman" who is supposed to be his favourite and jut a stop to her ruse. But he finds a girl who captivates him completely and ipakes him fall a victim to her in domitable charm. He finally decides to let rumour and. romance take their courses.
