Messrs J. R. Mills and Son reiporfc having held their usual monthly stock sale at Thornbury on Friday, February 3, when there was a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. Following wore the principal sales:—•
Cattle.—Account W. McLeod, 2 fat cows £4, 1 bull 30/-; Jno. Fallow,, 1 steer £B, 2 do. £6, heifer £5 10/-, 1 do. £4 12s 6d; G. Willis, 5 steers £» 10/-, 4 yearlings £2 2/6; G. Fletcher, 11 yearlings 32/6; G. ("aider, heffer £4; W. Strang, cow 30/"-, heifer £3 5/-; W. McMillan, bull 30/-.
Sheep.—Account T. B. Mclntyre, 25 fat sheep at 18/-; D. McFarlane, 15 fat lambs at 23/6; J. R, Reidie, 24 wetliers at 21/6; B. Ward, 29 fat ewes at 14/-, 14 do at 8/-; J. Allison and'Son, 83 laimbs at 14/7, 15 fat wethers at 17/9, 104 lambs at 9/s;} F. B. McKenzie, 154 lambs at 16/-.
