OTAUTAU RIVER BOARD.
The monthly meeting, held on Tuesday evening, was attended- by 'Messrs J. (Chairman), R. [ Greensladte, F. Crane, R. Seatter and E. Harrington. , Mr John Lindsay was re-elected .Chairman for the current year. It was' resolved that /10 per cent. penalty be imposed on all ratesi remaining unpaid after 29th March; The Committee of No. 1 Subdivision was authorised, for improvement of channel n&atf Mr D. Dowling's property, also 1 to> confer with Mr Smith regarding ilrmprovements to the Opio outlet,' and! to report to next meeting estimated coat of carrying out the work,' and the assifeance that would be rendered, by ratepayers interested.
