It is satisfactory to record the fact that, our local boys are still going to the front, eight having volunteered during the past week. As 6000 men are wanted for May we hope to see the district largely represented. Lieut. Wilkes, area officer has already been called to Trenthfm. The eight regiment goes into camp on 3rd May, when it is expected that 1200 will be present.
