Weight for age. Entrance, 10s. 3. Maiden Steeplechase of 20 sovs. Welter weight for age for all horses that have not won a stake of £ls in value over a steeplechase course. Distance, about two miles, over such course and jumps as the Stewards may direct. Three-year-olds, lOst; 4-y Car-olds, list; 5-year_ olds, list 41b ; 6-yoar-olds and aged, list 41b, Entrance, 20s. 4. Riverton Cup of 25 sovs. Distance, one mile and a-half. Nomination, 15s i acceptance, 10s. 5. Riverton Hunt Clue Steeplechase of 30 sovs., with a sweepstake of 10s each for second horse. To be ridden by members of any recognised Hunt Club, member of S. A. Turf Club, or member of Riverton Racing Club. Professionals to carry 71b extra. Nomination, 20s, to be accompanied by the sweepstake of 10s to go to second horse ; acceptance, 10s. 6. Flying Handicap of 15 sovs. Distance, 6 furlongs. Winner of Riverton Cup to carry 7ibs penalty. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, ss. 7. Consolation Handicap of 10 sovs. For all beaten horses. Distance, one mile. Entrance, 10s. RULES AND REGULATIONS. The Dunedin Jockey Club rules will be strictly enforced. All entries and acceptances must bo in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, and contain entrance money, description, pedigree and ago of horse, and colours to bo worn by the jockey. A penalty will bo enforced or riding in other than pro per costume. In the event of anyone entering a protest he sum of £3 2s must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered ; this sum to be forfeited to the funds should t ho stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexation . All disputes, claims and objections arising out of racing shall bo decided by the Stewards or whoever they may appoint, Their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of the programme shall bo final. Entries oceived only on these conditions. A Qualification Fee of 10s 6d must be paid by owners or nominators of horses. Qualification fee to accompany all nominations for handicaps, otherwise such nominations will not be received. Nominations for the Hurdle Race, Cup, Hunt Club Steeplechase and Flying Handicap must bo made to the Secretary, Riverton, before 8 ]MH. on FRIDAY, 18th MARCH.
