Samuel Taylor was nominated by Messrs Donald McLeod and John Pattison. There being only one vacancy, the poll to decide which of the candidates is to represent the Ward will take place on Thursday next, the 12tli inst. .. i SOUTH WARD. : William Hutchison, proposed by Messrs George Robertson and J. R. Mills, being, the only,candidate, was duly elected Councillor. , •
