A Sydney telegram says Further search in the Glebe pit has resulted iu finding the body of the man Hudson. It was discovered entombed in a small apartment, and fiom the beaten track it was apparent tho poor fellow had paced up and down until starved to death. The bodies of Beaumont, Grant and Meadows are visible, and it is believed they died in a similar manner to Hudson. J Very unexpectedly the football match Auckland v. Canterbury, played on Wednesday at Christchurch, resulted in a win for Canterbury by a try to nil. On Thursday Thomas Mold, a man about forty years of age, was shot at Auckland. His wife heard a shot and ran out into an outhouse where sho saw her husband lying dead with a bullat bole in his head and a” smoking revolver by his side.
