Safe and Car Stolen Advice has been received by Constable D. H. Sutton of the Waipukurau Police Station, that a safe was stolen last night from the office of the Auckland Motor Co. The theft of a 1934 model Chevrolet De Luxe car, painted De Luxe brown, with four Goodyear tyres and a Firestone on the back for a spare, is also reported from Auckland. The value of the car, which is the property of Messrs Reid, Twinane, and Co., is £3OO. The registered number is X 17-793, chassis No. HEA 21511 and engine No. R 46114226.
