FATALLY INJURED
. WELLINGTON POLICE OFFICER . SENR.-SERGT S. J. MARTIN (Ter Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The death of Senior-Sergeant S. J. Martin, officer-in-charge of the Wellington South police station, occurred in the Wellington Hospital yesterday afternoon as the result of injuries received when his motor-cycle collided with a motor-car on Wednesday evening. Senior-Sergeant Martin received head and internal injuries. Although he was operated on and given a blood transfusion, his condition grew gradually more critical.
