CANADA MAKES A MOVE A MODEST INCREASE IN ESTIMATES * OTTAWA, March 18. Thirty thousand men of the nonpermanent active militia have been given ten days training this year, the Minister of National Defence announced in the House of Commons when bringing down militia estimates totalling 1.994,000 dollars, an increase of £lll,OOO dollars (£22,200 approximately) over last year.
