A BANDIT KILLED
ATTEMPTED BANK HOLD-UP POLICE HIDDEN ON PREMISES VANCOUVER, Aug. 23. A message from Halifax states that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police killed one bandit, wounded a second, and captured a third in an attempted bank hold-up. The bandits opened fire when the police, who were hidden on the premises as the result of supplied information, demanded the bandits’ surrender.
