THE RAILWAY DEPARTMENT DEALS WITH SOME FARMERS (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Owing to some farmers who had ordered lime, having their produce transported by motor loiiies competing- with the railways, the Railway Board has decided to enforce the regulation which authorises the Department to withdraw from such offenders the benefit of free carriage of lime by rail.
