A total of 150 flats were completed between April. 1931, and March, 1932, on the Ebury Bridge estate, where the buildings cost £157,500. All 150 flats are now occupied. Both 'estates record a striking improvement in the condition of premises compared with former dwellings. The figures show that the number of very clean premises has increased from 278 330. while indifferent premises fell from 95 to 41. A garden guild on the Ebury estate formed by the tenants, to which all members contribute 2d per month, has been remarkably successful.
