During the St. Joseph’s social evening the following competition results were declared: Work box Mrs J James; doll, Miss D. Thompson; croquet. doiley Mr J, O’Connor.
At last Wednesday’s Orphanosium the oppotunity was taken to make a presentation to Orphan Glia twin who was recently married. Chief Orphan Fish, in asking" Orphan Chatwin to accept a silver vase and toast rack, stressed the great work that he had ‘lone for the club during the two years that he was secretary. He had been largely responsible for the promotion of the club and had done much to put the club in the strong position it was to-day. He wished Orphan Chatwin on behalf of the members many, many ' years of married life. Orphan Chatwin briefly returned, thanks. t $
