THE HAWK AND GLOAMING, MEETING AT HASTINGS ON SATURDAY. (Special to “Press”,) HASTINGS, This day. The advent of the two famous racehorses—Gloaming and the- Hawk —to Hast mgs, where they are expected to meet next 'Saturday, is attracting a good deal of attention and the town is likely to be very frill of visitors. Already pract ’cally all the. available hotel accommodation is booked up, and has been for some time-. Taxi-drivers report that they have bieen receiving orders during, the last week or ten days for engagements to bring visitors from long distances, and it is also reported that several Australian rac.ng followers have made- the trip to New Zealand especially to attend the meeting this week.
