CLOSING OF WAIPAWA CLU'J. TROPHIES FOR THE YEAR. The Waipawa Croquet Clu.b closed their green for the season on Thursday last. Visitors were present from Otanc and Waipukurau Clubs. The weather was ideal for croquet, and a number of competitions were keenly contest d, play commencing at 10.30. Mrs W. I, Limbrick, pres .dent of the croquet club, presented the trophies won during the season, also for trie competitions. Championship .Singles—Mrs T Hutchingson, Wa jpukurau.. Handicap Singles—Mrs T. Hutchinson, Waipukurau. B. Grade —'Hand leap’ Singles—Mrs Jull, runner up Mrs Hole. Competitions—Progressive Doubles— Mrs W. H. Rathbone and Mrs Condie, Waipukurau. Golf—Mrs Jull. Break—Mrs H. Limbrick and Mrs Hutchinson, tie. .
