<g> PLAYGROUND NOW METALLED. ROLLER iON THE JOB TO-DAY. The local school comm .ttec have lately been moving enthusiastically in tln> matter of improving the playground and the- w’hole has been regraded and levelled and the front hedge taken away adding considerably to both the ap pearancc and the utility of the ground. The work of metalling the grouno has now been completed and a five ton roller was to-day engaged in the w’orr of levelling up the metal and rolling -t in. It Is anticipated that if rain comes before much traffic has been over the grounds the whole will bind in a very sat sfactory w r ay.
