Magistrate's Court.

Messrs Motley and Harris, Js.P., occupied the Bench at the Court yesterday morning. The following civil cases were disposed of: — J. Grant v. D. N. Adams. —Claim, £7 18s. Judgment for amount claimed by default, with 9s costs. McKibbin v. James Watkins. —Claim, £lO 18s Bd. Mr Gothard appeared for plaintiff, for whom judgment was given by default, with 80s cost. G. H. Redwood v. C. T. Gray.— Claim, £7 0s 3d. Mr Gothard appeared ior plaintiff, for whom judgment was given by default, with costs 23s 6d. W. Isles v. Amundsen. —Claim, £2 3s Bd. On the application of Mr Gothard, who appeared for plaintiff, the case was adjorned till the Ist June.
