The Morning Post’s Washington correspondent is officially inform o that while the National Governme will not accept contributions to the relief fund, it does not object to the Citizens’ Committee at ’Frisco accepting donations from abroad. Wellington, May 4. The Premier has received the following from Mr Spreckels at San Francisco Fifty or more of your people desire to return by Sonoma sailing on May 31st. Shall we take them at the expense of your Government ? We are providing for needy cases in the meanwhile.”
