Telegrams* must be restricted to domestic matters and be as brief as possible, and in plain language. The address should consist of the name or number or both of the person addressed, together with the name of regiment, which will be counted as one word. A word rate is now adopted for telegrams to Australia, and Tasmania as follows:—New South' Wales, 5d per word; Victoria, Queensland, and South Australia, 6d; WestraJia, 7d; Tasmania Bd. Money order telegrams will be charged word rates alto; urgent tele« gram's three rates; Press rates are vm* altered.
