Cricket Statistics.

[Bv Lon<;-Stoi>.J BMow I give the bowling arm balling averages of the Woodville Cricket Clubs for the season just | closed. A glance through the batting averages proves that the bowling this season was much too strong for the batting, Wilson (with 10 2) being the best of the first eleven, and Stevenson (10*5) of the second. The bowling averages are good, Walsh, with 43 wickets at a cost of 4*72 runs each, coming out at the top of the first eleven. Coming to the second eleven, Staff, Morgan, and Loader have all splendid averages. Loader’s is really a great performance—lo4l balls, 292 runs, 49 mdus, 80 wkts, with an average of 8*65 runs. I congratulate him, and wish his left hand may never lose its cunning. The following are the BATTING AVERAGES. FIRST ELEVEN. SA “- if |l if I L. Wilson ... 15 153 0 36 10*2 F. B.
