Some 1400 bags have changed hands at. these prices. Sugars are in good request ; -we hear of snles of Mauritius to the extent of 600 bags at £34 10s for

yellow to £39 10s for fine white crystals. Sardines are beginning to attract attention ; a shipment of 80 cases halves and 100 cases quarters has been taken up at 10s 9d for the (ormer and 6s 4frd for the latter. Kerosene realises the advanced prioe sought to be established ; we hear of the disposal of a line of 1000 cases Devoe's at Is lOd. Brandies still meet with favor, and considerable sale? are effected ; we are informed of the quittance of 150 quarters and 50 hhds pale Martell'B 1869 at 9s 3d ; a stuall parcel of Otard's, 1871, was placed at fa 4fcd, and a line of 50 quarters Associated Vineyard realised 6s 3d. Several shipments of Jules Robin and Go's dark and pale brandy have likewise been got rid of at wifchin a trifle of the agents' quotation of 7s.
