Public Companies. THE WELLINGTON TRUST, LOAN, ANB INVESTMENT COMPANY (Limited). Advances made, by way of mortgage, on Real Estate, or Leaseholds, the borrower to have power to repay by instalments. Advances made on other approved securities (such as stock, ships, &c,) but not on personal security, Bills of Exchange or Promissory Notes. Investments can bo made and money borrowed, on the principle of Building Societies, as per tables to be seen at the office, where the necessary information can be obtained. DEPOSITS. The undersigned have made arrangements for the public sale of Wool, Flax, Tallow, and other produce sent to the Queen's Wharf, where the same can bo stored on moderate terms, and, if necessary, insured at a low rate of premium. The sales will be held every Tuesday, at 12 o'clock noon, or at any date or time according to special instructions. Wool or other produce received at any time, and either sold or retained, according to instructions ; the wharfinger's receipt being 1 sufficient to enable the proprietor to obtain advances. Advances can be made upon produce for shipment to London, or any part of the world. Producers will find it greatly to their advantage to Bend their wool and other produce direct to the Queen's Wharf for sale or shipment, as a considerable saving would be effected in cartage, storage, insurance, &c.
