Alteration of Boundaries of tlie Matarawa School District, Provincial Secretary's Office, Wellington, 20th August, 1867* Notice is hereby given that Applicatioa has been made to his Honor th» Superintendent to proclaim a School dis» trict under the style of the "Mataongaonga School District," with the following boundaries, viz : — The Boundary commences at the Junction of the Kohuta Stream with ihe VVanganui River, thencft up the said Stream till it meets the division line between the Mataongaonga and Makiririki Road Districts, thence Nortk Easterly along said Road District linft about 111 chains, thence South liasterly t» the North West corner of the Waihapa Native Reserve thence along the Westera boundary of that Reserve .to the North East corner of Application of G. M'Gregor thence tilong the division line between tha , Matuongaonga and Mataraa Road Dist?ict, to a low saddle in section 270 them-e along a Ridge to the North East corner of Section 58, thence ulong the Northern boundary of Sections 68, 57, 56, 55, 54, and 53, thence Southerly along a portion the Eastern boundary of 7^J4, thence along tho Northern boundary of Sections 58,. 51, 50, 49, 48. 47, 46, 45, 44, 60, to tho Road Reserve on the VVangnnui River, thence up ihe Wanganui River along said Road Reserve to the Starting Point. And Whereas such proposed boundaries conflict with th« boun aries of the Matarawa* School, District, Notice is hereby further given in compliance with tha provisions of the " Education Act Amendment Act» 1867," that at tho expiration of six monthi from this da;e the said Mataongaonga bchool District will be proclaimed and the said Maiarawa School Distrct altered accordingly, unless in the meantime sufficient cause be shown to the contrary, W.
