" A Consignee" contradicts a statement in our late issue to " the effect that the Asterope had finish'ed discharging." This letter arrived too late for insertion to-day, but shall appear in our next. A communication on Horticulture flora our correspondent " Veronica'' is under consideration, and if suitable, will shortly be inserted. "Progiess" has sent ua a lengthy letter on li The Temperance Movement." which if correct in its details, will also find a place in our columns. We wish to impress on all our correspondents the absolute necessity of enclosing their names, as many letters of some value and interest are rejected because anonymous.
