NOTICE TO MARINERS.

INNER BAR, OTAOO HARBOUR, N. Z. The Channel across the Inner Bar being of a shifting nature, a Sand Bank is forming in MidChannel, and on which there is at present only a depth of (9 J) nine and a half feet at low water, springtides; the Channel on either side of the Bank, although considerably narrowed, has still the usual depth of (17£) seventeen and a-half feet at low water. A Chequered Buoy has been moored upon the Bank to shew its position.

The Channel is gradually shifting towards the I Sand spit, and will shortly present the usual [ width. ' i WM. THOMSON, I Harbour Master. ,
