ENTLEMEN. — Having vacated my seat in %JT the Provincial Council, in consequence of obtaining a contract from the Provincial Government, I beg respectfully to offer myself for re-elec-tion. It was well known to the majority of the Electors who did me the honor to support me at the last election, that I then, aud for many years previously, held contracts from the Provincial Government, I therefore trust that now having renewed a contract, that circumstance will not lessen your confidenco in me. If again returned, I shall as heretofore advocate all such measures, as I consider conducive to the .prosperity of the City of Wellington, and the Province.
