The Officer in charge, or person appointed by him to have the power of rejecting any article of. fcrcd, and if proper supplies are not immediately substituted, to purchase at the expense of the Contractor. Each tender must the four rations, and state the price for each of the four. Payment will be made monthly in the usual manner, by the Gommissariat, on production of proper vouchers. Articles speoially imported, or taken out of Bond for this aervice, will be free from Colonial Duties. The Terms and Conditions will be the same as those for the Annual Contracts, published in the " Wellington Independent " Newspaper, of the 24th December, 1861. Any further information that may be required, with forms of tender, will be supplied on application at this Office.
