The only political news of any interest observable in the Sydney papers received by the last overland mail, is the return of Mr. Lowe, the barrister, and editor of the Atlas, as a member of the Legislative Council for the counties of St. Vincent and Auckland, without opposition. What with Mr. Wild, for Camden, and Mr. Lowe, for the above-named counties, both ultra radicals, in place of Mr. Therry and Capt. Coghill, of the opposite class of politicians, Sir George Gipps will not have an easy birth of it during the approaching session.
