FATHER JERGER
PRECAUTIONS AT FREMANTLE. Eeceived July 27, 10.35 a.m. FREMANTLE, July 27. Passengers from the Khyber state that Father Jerger was allowed his liberty till approaching Fremantle, when an armed guard took Jerger below to a cabin and guarded him. Fremantle passengers before embarking had to give assurance that they would not carry any message from Jerger. The Khyber sailed for Colombo.
