Therefore moving picture patrons will look forward with anticipation to his latest picture, “Eiders of the Purple Sage,’’ which will be shown at Everybody’s Theatre for three days, beginning to-night. Adapted 'from Zane Grey’s famous novel of the same name, “Riders of the Purple Sage” tells a story that affords Mr Parnum an exceptional opportunity to ponrtray those qualities which have made him pre-eminent. Its scenes laid in Utah, in the days when unscrupulous leaders of the Mormon Church west® trying to spread the tent of polygamy, this photoplay tolls of the abduction of a girl by a dignitary of the Mormon Church, of the long hunt of her brother for the guilty men, and of the final settlement, when Lassiter, as played by Mr Farman, avenges the great wrong on the honour of his sister. THE GRAND. "INFATUATION” TO-NIGHT. Associated with Gaby Deslys in “Infatuation” are well-known names also associated with the star’s rise to fame in the stage world. The story is remarkable for its splendour. In one scene several items from a musical comedy are introduced and are an eye-opener in the magnitude with'which they are presented. Dances are introduced which render easily understandable the fame of Gaby as a dancer. In addition her beauty stands out, whether as the poor flower girl or the as the gorgeous human butterfly who has achieved great fame and become the idol of Paris, in simple raiment or the magnificent costumes of the star. The box plan booking is rapidly filling at Upton’s, and a record season is anticipated. Special operatic music will be played by the Grand Symphony Orchestra.
