WAR WORK
It has been decided that all Red Cross workers at the Show shall wear a red cross. In order to ensure the uniformity these will be supplied ot-the depot. His Majesty's Buildings, on Saturday, from 2 till 5, at a small price, to cover the cost of material. All helpers are urged to procure and wear these badges. All who can assist by services on the ground or in any other way, the Bed Cross effort at the Show are cordially invited to do so. Donations from town and country of meat, eggs, milk, cream, cheese, bread, tea, lettuces, and other necessary goods for the supply of the various boohs end kiosks, are urgently needed. It is asked that all goods be marked as to the various booths oxkiosks for which they are intended, and left on the grounds if possible, but in case of inconvenience they may be left at the Depot, H.M. Buildings, on Wednesday. In order that patrons may know where to address their donations, it may be said that the booths and kiosks are as follows:—No. 1 tea kiosk, in charge of Mrs Cummins and Miss Young; No. 2 lea kiosk, in charge of the St. Johns Hill ladies; luncheon booth under grandstand, Mrs Hammond; luncheon marquee (outside). Miss Morton Jones; quick luncheon, Gouville ladies; soft drinks, fruit salads, and ices, Mrs Deem and' Mrs Thomas: sweets stall, Miss Ballantine. A great feature-of the effort will he the sale of tickets in the handsome cutlery canteen art union.
