BLOWN UP
SPANDAU ARTILLERY WORKS LONDON, November 7. An Amsterdam correspondent at Bremen reports that an explosion totally destroyed the Spandau artillery works. The employees had previously left. Spandau is a town and first-class fortress of Prussia, eight miles from Berlin. Spandau is the seat of an arsenal, large Government cannon foundries, and factories for making gunpowder and other munitions of war.
