CHINA AND GERMANY.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association PEKIN, April 14. The Government has prohibited navigation on the inland waters of China by vessels under the German flag, and has withdrawn licenses to German pilots. SOCIALIST PEACE CONFERENCE. STOCKHOLM, April 15. Russian extreme Socialists, formerly exiled to Switzerland, have arrived. They are arranging a peace conference. Some German and rrench Socialists accepted the invitation, but the British refused. The British Government refused the exiles permission to visit England. They travelled to Switzerland through Germany in closed carriage*.
