MYTHOLOGY FROM BERLIN.

(Commonwealth Official Correspondent.) British Headquarters, France, March 28.

The Germans report to the world, through wireless, that they counted 1000 dead on the Held of battle after the British had won Lagnicourt. Lett this should cause pain and anxiety, as it is deliberately meant to, 1 may say to my knowledge that the whole number of dead on our side in that fight did not amount to fifty; or, if the whole series of fighte there and at Beanmetz be included, they did not exceed 100. We saw far more German dead than British. This is the fourth or fifth extraordinary misstatement which that truly royal liar, Prince Rupprecht, has fired recently. These unquestionably have a deliberate purpose.
