FIVE MILLIONS TO WAR FUNDS

SYDNEY, March 30. At the annual meeting of the Mutual Life and Citizens Assurance Company, the chairman stated that the Company in one way and another had contributed upwar<..s of five millions in financing the war. He announced that it was proposed to make a patriotic appeal to policy holders to apply their share in wie year’s profits to the equipment of one more brigade of artillery for presenta*tion to our forces in the field, known as the M.L.C. Artillery Fund. Those desiring to do so may contribute portion only of the year’s profits or more than one year’s profits.
