Strong French advances north-west of Monastir failed. GERMAN DEPOT BLOWN UP. A TREMENDOUS EXPLOSION. (Reuter.) AMSTERDAM, March 28. An enormous explosion was heard on the frontier, the German depot at Charleroi being blown up. EXPLOSION AT MUNITION FACTORY. IN NORTH OF ENGLAND. (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn, and Reuter.) LONDON, March 28. . An accidental explosion occurred at a munition factory in the north of England. The damage was slight. One person was killed and nine injured.
