ORANGE BLOSSOMS.
JAMES—HOOPER. A quiet but pretty wedding took place ou Tuesday morning at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, by the Rev. D. Caldcr, when Mr Hiram James, eldest son of Mr James, of Foilding, was married to Miss Edna Clive Hooper, youngest daughter of Mrs J. hooper, Ingestre Street, Wanganui. Tjio bride, who was given away,„by her brothor-in-law, Mr Holmes, was dressed in a white flowered silk, and wore .the orthodex veil and orange blossoms. She was attended by her niece and the bridegroom's sister as bridesmaids, both daintily drcs.od in white silkl voile and overdress of lacc. Mt W. James, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. Tho “Wedding March” was played by Mr Sydney Butler, After the ceremony a reception was held at tho home of the bride’s mother. The bridegroom’s presents to the bridesmaids wero gold brooches. The ncwly-iViarried couple left by train for New Plymouth, whore the ’ honeymoon is to bo spout.
